"Gebyar: Experience Indonesia" Cultural Night 2004 offers a glimpse and a taste of Indonesia's true colors as we present a series of exquisite traditional and contemporary performances and presentations, all displayed in an exceptional traditional market ("pasar malam") setting. To show our cultural identity as it really is, we believe that it is best to bring Indonesia in its truest content.

Our mission for this event is to celebrate Indonesia's 59th year of Independence, while raising sufficient funds, a portion of which will be donated to local organization in Indonesia that is dedicated to the growth and development of education & cultural programs. Through our event, we also want to increase awareness and recognition of our unique culture and arts in NYC, and to embed nationalism among the Indonesian scholars and young professionals by providing opportunity to demonstrate their creativity & talents in dedication to our national roots.

Our programs include:
- Live performances (live musical performance, traditional/modern Indonesian dances, etc.)
- Fashion show- Food tasting (and selling)
- Exhibition (of Indonesian culture & handicrafts)
- Video presentation
- An open floor of a "pasar malam" (night market) vibe.
- Door Prize: TWO AIRLINE TICKETS FROM GARUDA INDONESIA
- And so much more!!!
