a master's degree next to my name ;) 

Alhamdulillah it's finally OVER. No more school for me...not unless I'm insane enough to pursue a Doctoral Degree (Phd). My academic career has officially ended. Yup, I'm happy that I just passed my Oral Comprehensive Exam. The Oral Comprehensive Exam is one option offered by my school to exit the MBA program. The other is to write a thesis. I chose the former because I think it's easier in lieu of writing a thesis. Well anywho, would like to share with you a bit of my experience taking this oral exam. I got to school about 4o mins before my schedule time to take the test. I saw one of my friends being tested in the room already and it was so obvious she was grilled by one of the panels (there were 3 panels of professors by the way). Then she got out of the room and not suprisingly passed the test. Then it was my turn. Sempet deg2an juga seeh abis ngeliat temen di tanyain macem2. But I managed to control my emotion when I entered the room. Got to the room, greeted the panels briefly. They were Dr. Weiss, Dr. Chandrasekar and Dr. Ozelli. I got the chance to pick which professor I wanted to start with. I chose Dr. Ozelli. It went pretty fast with him cuz I answered most of his questions straight forward. Then came Dr.Chandrasekar....this is when the problem started. He grilled me with killer questions. I'm actually a bit ashamed of myself because most of the questions he asked were in the field of economics and I did my undergrad in that field :( But, his questions were not pure conceptual economics per se...it was mostly related to the current global economic conditions. He knew that I tried to bullshit my way out when he asked me what the differences are in price structure between a cartel (OPEC) and and oligopoly (the automobile industry).He knew that I didnt know what I was talking about...heheheeh..:)well terus more killer questions from him....I tried my best to answer them..all in all pokoknya dia lah yang paling lama nanyain gua....but I was glad when it was over with him. Like with Dr.Ozelli, the session with Dr. Weiss went fast and straight forward. Abis itu baru di bilangin that I passed:)What a f***ing relief :)

Sekarang, I just earned myself a master's degree, an MBA to be exact, and as my friend slesta said when she got hers "it was a very expensive three letter word" It was indeed. Tuition doesn't get any cheaper by the year:( Graduation commencement is this Sunday on the 23rd but I have decided not to attend cuz males aja. Udah sering ngikutin graduation..dari Junior High sampe kelar Bachelor's degree two years ago gua selalu ngikutin the commencement. I'm gratefull that I finally finished my MBA after 1.5 year of somewhat hard work. Terima kasih "Yayasan AyahBunda" atas dorongan dan bantuan "scholarship"nya selama ini :) Thank God for making this process a smooth and un-interupted one. And also thanks to my family and friends atas dukungannya selama ini. :)

MERDEKA!!!

PS: I attended an end of semester bbq at my professor's place over the weekend. Took out his 17 year old daughter to a greek restaurant/lounge/club afterwards. HAD LOTS OF FUN :)Pictures are here

Most of my friends, if not all, know that I have an ample collection of "mens magazine". Mens magazine in a sense the kinds of magazines that are read/looked at by most men (with lots of pictures of HOT GILRS and INTERESTING Articles) such as Maxim, Stuff, FHM and Playboy just to mention a few. NOT the kinds that are filled with pictures of men. Sorry, I'm just not into that. I think I'm losing my f***ing mind here. I'm so stressed out because of school now. I just can't focus on my school works anymore. Pikiran gua kemana mana neh. I became easily worried about little stuff yang sebenernya "ngga penting" bgt. Projects(group and individual), presentations, and papers and exams keep coming...one after another. The workload is just too much to handle for me right now, especially with other things goin on in my life such as Permias and some personal stuff. I've never felt this stressed out about school during my undergrad years and yet I was still able to maintain a descent gpa. I know grad school's work load shouldn't be compared to that of undergrad's. But, it's a bit odd that I managed to do somewhat well in my first three semesters in grad school and now that I'm on my last, it seems that it's the hardest one of all. My mind is so f***ed up right now that barusan gua nyoba ngerjain take home midterm gua...it took me quite awhile to figure out a simple Supply and Demand problem. So much for an economics major (undergrad) huh :(. In addition, I'm also infected with a "senioritis" syndrome a.k.a penyakit males..heheheeheh :) I guess I just a need break aja from all the stuff that I'm doing right now. It would be great if I could just sit back and relax and not to worry about stuff or anything and just read John Grisham's thrillers :) Yah tapi gua tau kok keadaanya tidak bisa begitu :( Well gitu aja deh. To those who read this posting, this is just one of my regular habits of complaining about how pathetic my life is....ngga penting bgt...hehehehe...:) adiossss

New Layout 

Ahhh....*sigh*..I finally finished changing the layout of this damn blog..hehehhehe....I actually didn't plan to change my layout at all. Jadi ceritanya gini, yesterday, I told someone (ehem..;)to change the settings on my tag board...and just on my tag board ;)...heheheeh... but he decided to change a couple of the settings for the layout as well. I dont know why he did that. As a result, the layout turned out to be messy and jadi ngga enak di liat gitu deh. Sebetulnya seeh bisa di ganti ke old setting lagi and everything should turn back to what it was before. Tapi guanya males aja ganti2 settingsnya lagi and so I thought, hey why not change the whole layout, cuz gua juga udah bosen ngeliatinnya....and so I did. I spent a couple of hours last night designing my "new" layout. When it's done, I told a couple of friends to check it out, and taunya banyak yang ngga suka...ada yang bilang "anehhh", "kurang laki" aka feminine..hehehehe..pokoknya banyak yang ngga suka deh....Soooo, pas pulang kerja tadi...langsung aja deh gua ganti lagi....takut di kritik orang2 lain..heheheh... and now it's all readyyyyy....mudah2an ngga di kritik lagi ama orang lain..heheheeh:)

Moving on....I'm currently on my Spring Break...yeeee....it's finally here....udah di tungguin lama2 and akhirnya dateng juga..hehehe..apa seeh..norak bgt yah gua..kayak ngga pernah Spring Break aja :) However, it doenst feel like Spring Break though....I'm occupied with a shit load of school work :( I hate school neeh....udah muak aja rasanya kuliah mulu....cant wait untill I'm done in May. Sooo...I made a list of all the school works I had to do during my "Spring Break". Here they are:

1. Investment Analysis for Mgmt 690
2. Target Acquisition Presentation for Mgmt 690
3. Take home midterm for Intl 705
4. Paper for Mgmt 725
5. Start studying for the Oral Comprehensive Exam in May
6. Apply for Jobs

*Sighhhhhhhhhhh*...gua capek bgt neeh....dari tadi ngerjain layout baru....goshhhh...i havent eaten dinner yet.....aight then..thats all from me for now folks.....adios...hey now :)

it's really been awhile that i update my blog....for those of you who wonder why, it's not because i've been busy but it's because i've been so damnnnn lazyyyy latelly...not just in updating my blog but in other things as well.....so whats up with me latelly? hmm....same old same old...nothing really interesting.....over the weekend i saw "taking lives"...good movie...those who havent seen it....you should.....sat night was permias nyc first event...we had a "movie night" at kjri.......lumayan suksess lah....a lot of people came late....i wasnt suprised....typical orang melayu...:P hehehehe.....pictures from that event should be posted in permiasnyc website soon...:) terus sekarang gua lagi sakit berattt neeh....i lost my voice...my throat hurtttssss so much...i think it's an infection....well i dont know what else to write here....cuz i'm sick as a dog now and am feeling like shitttt nowww.....ok deh....laterrr..hey now :)
